Acadia National Park is famous for it's unique landscapes. It must be, for there are usually around two million visitors to the park each season, which certainly has an impact on the environment . Wherever you explore in the park, there are spectacular views with landscapes like no place else. Mount Desert Island is around 25 miles across with 26 mountains and 26 lakes and ponds, so there is plenty to see and do at Acadia National Park.
